What exactly is KlaroNail?
A cosmetic topical spray for the nail and the skin around it, 1 oz of botanical oils and nutrients in an amber glass pump bottle. Thirteen ingredients are named on the label, led by clove bud, tea tree and lavender oils with undecylenic acid.
How do I use it?
Four sprays a day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Coat the nail and the cuticle, then work the liquid into the fold at the sides and base with a cotton swab. Applying after a shower, when the plate is soft, gets more into the skin.
How long does one bottle last?
About a month on one problem nail at the directed four sprays a day. Treating several nails burns through it faster, which is the practical reason the multi-bottle packs exist.
Why does the label not print amounts?
We do not know, and we have asked. The maker names thirteen ingredients and publishes no milligram figure, no percentage and no blend total. Every table on this site says so instead of guessing. It is the weakest point of the product.
Is KlaroNail an antifungal treatment?
No. It is sold as a cosmetic, which means it works on how the nail and surrounding skin look and feel. It is not a drug, carries no Drug Facts panel and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. A nail that hurts or is lifting needs a clinician, not a spray.
Is it FDA approved?
No, and neither is any cosmetic. The FDA does not approve cosmetics before sale. The product is made in a United States facility operating to cosmetic good manufacturing practice, and statements here have not been evaluated by the FDA.
Are there side effects?
The common ones are a cool or stinging sensation from menthol and camphor on broken skin, and contact sensitivity to clove or tea tree oil in people prone to it. Patch test on a forearm for 24 hours first. Stop if redness or itching develops.
Can I use it with a prescription nail treatment?
Ask the prescriber. We are not going to guess at an interaction between a cosmetic oil blend and a medicine we cannot see, and applying two things to the same nail makes it impossible to tell which one did anything.
How fast will I see something?
The median first reported change in our review set is 31 days, and it is usually the skin rather than the nail. A toenail takes nine to twelve months to grow out completely, so judge the base of the nail, not the tip.

Is there a subscription?
No. Every order is a single charge. We do not store a card for a second billing and there is no auto-refill to cancel.
Do you ship outside the United States?
